University of Pittsburgh Book Center to Host Author Meet and Greet
PITTSBURGH-Sam Sciullo Jr., a University of Pittsburgh alumnus, will take part in a Meet and Greet session and sign copies of his new book, Pitt: 100 Years of Basketball (Sports Publishing, 2005), at 11 a.m. Oct. 21 in the University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
Author of three other books, Sciullo earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in English writing in 1981 and served for seven years as a member of Pitt's sports information office. His books include Panther Pride: University of Pittsburgh's Men's Basketball (Arcadia, 2002), Pitt Stadium Memories (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2000), and Tales of the Pitt Panthers (Sports Publishing, 2004). He also is coeditor of Greatest Moments in Pitt Football History (Athlon, 1994).
