1/13 The Pitt Graduate School of Public Health's Health Policy Institute will hold the first of its Winter-Spring 2006 Governance Briefings at 8 a.m., Pittsburgh Athletic Association, 4215 Fifth Ave., Oakland. UPMC Chair G. Nicholas Beckwith III and UPMC CFO Robert A. DeMichiei will host the briefing, titled "UPMC's Plan to Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley." Registration is required. 1/12 As part of the ongoing exhibition series of single prints from the Darlington Library's complete set of 435 original Audubon prints, Pitt's Hillman Library will display Whip-poor-will in the Audubon Exhibition Case, Ground Floor, 3960 Forbes Ave., Oakland. OPEN HOUSE

1/12 The 26 Nationality Rooms in Pitt's Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., will be open for tours through Jan. 13. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children ages eight to 18. Children under eight are admitted free.
