Forbes Avenue Through Oakland to Be Paved July 27-30
PITTSBURGH-Forbes Avenue will undergo paving from July 27 through July 30, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and finishing at 6 a.m. each day.
Throughout the operation, off-duty police officers and flaggers will be stationed at multiple intersections to assist with traffic flow.
Intersections, including those at Atwood and Bouquet streets, McKee Place, and Meyran and Oakland avenues, will be closed at various times and the traffic will be detoured to the next available intersection. These closures will be alternating in concert with the paving operation.
Ambulances will be given special attention as they travel through the work area.
