University of Pittsburgh to Hold Free Teaching Careers Information Session

PITTSBURGH—A free Teaching Careers Information Session, presented by the University of Pittsburgh's School of Education and College of General Studies, will be held from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Kurtzman Room of the William Pitt Union in Oakland.
Interested individuals can visit information tables to learn about options for earning prerequisites, certification, and graduate degrees in elementary, secondary, and special education. Pitt advisors, faculty, students, and graduates will participate in two panel discussions, at 2 and 6 p.m.
Information will also be provided on admission requirements and procedures, financial aid, career opportunities, and Pitt's student-run Future Educators of America.
