Chair of Pitt's Austrian Nationality Room Committee To Receive Medal From the Republic of Austria June 19 In the Cathedral of Learning

PITTSBURGH—His Excellency Thomas Klestil, Federal President of the Republic of Austria, has announced that Joseph Novak, M.D., chair of the University of Pittsburgh's Austrian Nationality Room Committee, will be awarded the Decoration of Honor in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria.
Deputy Consul General Sigurd Pacher of the Austrian Consulate General in New York City will bestow the medal at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, in Pitt's Austrian Nationality Room, 314 Cathedral of Learning.
