PITTSBURGH—University of Pittsburgh Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg will address alumni and friends during the Pitt Day in Harrisburg reception Feb. 10 at the Harrisburg Hilton and Towers, 1 N. Second St., Harrisburg.

Sponsored by the Pitt Alumni Association, Pitt Day in Harrisburg will feature a legislative luncheon from noon to 1:45 p.m. at the Hilton, alumni visits to legislative offices from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Capitol, and a Pitt Symphonic Band Concert at 4 p.m. in the Capitol Rotunda. The academic exhibitions include the Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security Studies' work on national preparedness and terrorism and the School of Education Center for Urban Education's Wilkinsburg School District project to resolve problems impeding academic progress.

Pitt's Alumni Legislative Network annually spends a day in Harrisburg informing elected officials about the University's accomplishments and advocating the needs of the University and other higher education institutions across the state.
