PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business' M.B.A. program ranked 10th among North American public regional institutions rated in "The Top North American Schools" survey of corporate recruiters published today in the joint Wall Street Journal/Harris Interactive report, "WSJ Guide to Business Schools: Recruiters' Top Picks."

Overall, in the report's North American ranking of M.B.A. programs at both public and private regional institutions, the Katz School ranked 22nd.

This is the second year in a row that the Katz School has been included in the annual report, now in its fourth year.

In the regional rankings, Pitt's Katz School placed ahead of such prestigious institutions as the University of Southern California, Rice University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Wisconsin. The regional rankings are determined by how recruiters rate each M.B.A. program on 20 different attributes, survey respondents' future plans to recruit students from the school, and the number of survey respondents who said they have recruited recently at the school.
