LECTURE

4/13 Pitt's Department of Physics and Astronomy presents The 1998 Margaret B. Hays Distinguished Lecturer in Physics, Professor Sir Martin J. Rees, Cambridge University. Professor Rees will deliver a lecture titled "Before the Beginning: Our Universe and Others." Public Health Auditorium, Room G23, 4:30 p.m. Free admission. For more information, call 624-6381.

MUSIC

4/16 Pitt's Jazz Studies and the Department of Music present the Pitt Jazz Ensemble in its spring concert, "A Salute To Clark Terry" featuring world-renowned trumpeter Clark Terry. THEATRE

4/1 - 4/19 Pitt's Department of Theatre Arts presents "Noises Off" by Michael Frayn. Directed by W. Stephen Coleman. Stephen Foster Memorial Theatre. EXHIBIT

4/8 - 4/26 Pitt's Department of Studio Arts presents the 1998 Annual Studio Arts Student Exhibition at the University Art Gallery. The Opening Reception will be held on April 8 from 4 - 6 p.m. The gallery is located in the rear of the Frick Fine Arts Building, Schenley Drive. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, closed weekends. Free admission. For more information, call 648-2430.
