PITT'S IMPULSE MAGAZINE RECEIVES TRENDSETTER AWARD
PITTSBURGH, April 22 -- The University of Pittsburgh's "Impulse Magazine," a weekly publication of "The Pitt News" that focuses on college life and entertainment, won this year's College Newspaper Business and Advertising Managers, Inc. This is the top award given by this national organization for college newspapers with a circulation of over 40,000. The College Newspaper Business and Advertisers, Inc. cited "Impulse Magazine's" distribution to the entire Pittsburgh college market, its unique market opportunities for Pittsburgh advertisers, and its editorial content as reasons for presenting it the top award.
"The Pitt News" also received second place for best sales promotion material for newspapers over 40,000 circulation.
