STEELER KORDELL STEWART TO JOIN AUTHOR AT PITT BOOK SIGNING
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 4 -- Steeler Kordell Stewart will join sports agent Leigh Steinberg, author of "Winning with Integrity," at a book signing on Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in the University of Pittsburgh William Pitt Union Assembly Room. No other memorabilia will be signed.
Steinberg is one of America's leading sports attorneys and is considered an authority on the business of sports. Steinberg has negotiated over $2 billion in contracts for the athletes he represents, who include Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Drew Bledsoe, and Oscar de la Hoya. Steinberg served as technical advisor for the Oscar-nominated film "Jerry Maguire," starring Tom Cruise, and has been featured in numerous magazines and television programs.
In addition to his success as an agent, Steinberg has been recognized for both his personal charitable efforts, as well as his work to encourage his clients to become active in their own communities. He used his experiences as an agent, combined with his desire to have athletes and sports agents portrayed as positive role models, as inspiration for his book.
