PITT'S RUSSIAN AND EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES PROGRAM TO PRESENT FOLK MUSIC AT BARNES & NOBLE
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 2 -- The Russian and East European Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh will present folk music from an array of East European countries from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at the Barnes & Noble book store, downtown.
Performing musicians are from the Pittsburgh International Folk Theater. The presentation is the next in a monthly series offered at Barnes & Noble by the University of Pittsburgh Center for International Studies, Africana Studies and the African Drum & Dance Ensemble.
The event is free and open to the public. Barnes & Noble is located at
339 Sixth Street, entrance on Smithfield Street.
