PITT ACADEMIC COMPLEX SUBJECT OF COMMUNITY WORKSHOP
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 11 -- The University of Pittsburgh's planned Multi-Purpose Academic Complex will be the focus of a community workshop, Thursday, November 12, at 6 p.m. in the Lower Lounge of the William Pitt Union on the University's Oakland campus.
The workshop will concentrate on plans for the Multi-Purpose Academic Complex to be located on Forbes Avenue between Bouquet Street and Oakland Avenue. The session is the latest in a series of presentations about the University's program to improve its facilities to meet the needs of its students into the next century. Members of the public are invited to participate in the discussion of the plan following the presentations.
The event is part of an ongoing effort by the University to inform Oakland residents of its building plans and to provide them with an opportunity to comment on them.
Additional workshops will be scheduled in the future to provide more details and discussion about other planned construction projects.
