The following events at the University of Pittsburgh are open to the public and cover the time period, November 22 - November 28.

EXHIBIT

11/23 - 12/11 Pitt's University Art Gallery presents: Creating a Sense of Place: Devotion Builds a Campus. The four exhibits presented are: Honoring Cultural Traditions: The 60th Anniversary of the Nationality Rooms; Heinz Memorial Chapel: Celebrating 60 Years of Light; In the Public Eye, A Century of Art and Architecture on Pitt's Campus; and Over Time: The Art of Jane Haskell. The curators for the exhibits are the students from the 1998 Museum Studies Seminar at Pitt. Frick Fine Arts, University Art Gallery, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday. 11/16 - 12/30 The University of Pittsburgh's Book Center presents Thomas Hermansader Lithographs. University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Avenue, Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission. For more information, call Russell Kierzkowski at 648-1453.

MUSIC

11/22 The Pittsburgh Compline Choir continues its Compline Choir Series with Eugene Bertsch. The ecumenical worship services will continue every Sunday evening through December 13. Heinz Memorial Chapel, 8:30 p.m. Free admission. For more information, call 682-6886.

THEATRE
