PITT ALUMNAE COUNCIL TO HOST 57TH CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY PARTY
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24 -- Santa Claus, face painting, crafts, and refreshments are just a few of the enticements for children attending the University of Pittsburgh Alumnae Council's 57th annual Children's Holiday Party on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room.
The event is open to the public and reservations are required. Admission to the holiday party is $5, children aged three and under are free. All proceeds benefit the Alumnae Council Scholarship Fund and Lantern Night.
Entertainment will include Imaginarium, music, photos with Santa, balloons, and more. The Alumnae Council will be collecting unwrapped gifts of toys or clothing to distribute to needy children. Anyone interested in participating is asked to bring a small gift item for the collection.
