HOLIDAY TOURS

12/6 The Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh's Cathedral of Learning will be decorated in their traditional holiday style beginning Nov. 22. Tours are available throughout the holiday season. The cost of the tours are: adults, $2.00; senior citizens, $1.50; and children, (8 -18) $ .50. The rooms will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31, 1998 and Jan. 1, 1999. For more information, call the Nationality Rooms Program at

12/14 - 12/30 The University of Pittsburgh's Book Center presents Thomas Hermansader Lithographs. University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Avenue, Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday - Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission. For more information, call Russell Kierzkowski at 648-1453.

MUSIC

12/13 The Pittsburgh Compline Choir closes its Compline Choir Series with John W. Becker. Heinz Memorial Chapel, 8:30 p.m. Free admission. For more information, call 682-6886.

CONCERTS

12/13 "An American Family Christmas From Coast to Coast," starring Dear Friends features traditional Christmas music from America and other countries. The annual concert series, presented by the University of Pittsburgh's Center for American Music, highlights the holiday traditions of the Chinese, Irish, African-American, Appalachian, French, and traditional American and English populations. Stephen Foster Memorial auditorium, 2:30 p.m. $12 adults, $10 senior citizens, $8 students and children. For reservations or further information, call 624-4100.

12/13 Pitt's Men's Glee Club, directed by Stephen Greene, presents their annual Fall/Winter concert. The program features folk songs, spirituals, and a variety of Christmas pieces. Frick Fine Arts Auditorium, 3 p.m. Free Admission. For more information, call 624-4125.
