TROMBONIST HAROLD BETTERS TO APPEAR AT FREE PITT CONCERT
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 19 -- Pittsburgh jazz trombonist Harold Betters will be featured in a Brown Bag Jazz Lunch concert Wednesday, Feb. 24, noon -
1 p.m. in the Lower Lounge of the William Pitt Student Union, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland. The event is free and open to the public.
Betters, who is from Connellsville, PA, has delighted jazz audiences locally and around the world for many years. He will be accompanied at this concert by musicians from the Pitt Jazz Ensemble. Audience members are invited to bring their own lunch and beverage.
Two additional Brown Bag Jazz Lunch concerts are planned on March 17 and April 14, with guest performers to be announced.
