PITT'S KUNTU REPERTORY THEATRE SEEKS AFRICAN AMERICAN ACTRESSES FOR PRODUCTION
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 23 -- The University of Pittsburgh's internationally-known Kuntu Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for its production of "Keepers of the Dream," beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 13, at City Theatre, 57 South 13th Street, Southside.
Parts are available for African American women, ages 20-65. Interested individuals must be prepared to perform a gospel song and monologue from the play, copies of which can be obtained from Kuntu Repertory Theatre. Piano playing skills are required for one of the roles. Those chosen for the roles in the production will be compensated.

"Keepers of the Dream," created and directed by Jacqueline Moscou, will be performed April 7 to 18 in City Theatre's Lester Hamburg studio space as part of its Hamburg Partner Project.
