PITT TO HOLD SLOVAK HERITAGE FESTIVAL

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 7 -- The Ninth Annual Slovak Heritage Festival, sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Slovak Studies Program and the Pitt Students' Slovak Club, will be held Sunday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room.

The Festival will feature Slovak song and dance performances by artists from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Slovakia; educational lectures and displays; ethnic foods; pastries, and vendors.

The Slovak Heritage Festival is free and open to the public. For more information, call 412-624-5906.
