11/2 The University of Pittsburgh presents its 29th annual Jazz Seminar
- & Concert, featuring musical greats Wallace Roney, Mike Mossman,
11/6 Bob Brookmeyer, Grover Washington, Jr., Ernie Watts, James Moody, Russell Malone, Kenny Barron, Abraham Laboriel, Winard Harper, and Pitt Jazz Studies director Nathan Davis. The performers will conduct free seminars throughout the week. The concert will be held Saturday Nov. 6, 8 p.m., at Carnegie Music Hall. General admission $17, Pitt students $8.50.
