COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF BEAVER COUNTY TO OFFER PITT COURSES
PITTSBURGH, June 15 -- Students enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh's College of General Studies (CGS) will soon be able to take some of their courses at the Community College of Beaver County.
Beginning this fall, the College will offer evening classes, taught by full-time and part-time Pitt faculty, that include history, anthropology, psychology, and the popular Administration of Justice program. Participants must be registered Pitt students, but the classes also are open to anyone wishing to enroll in CGS, which must be done through the regular application process. Pitt also provides on-site advising at the Community College of Beaver County, by appointment.
Through this new arrangement with the College, CGS hopes to make classes more convenient for Pitt students in Robinson Township, Aliquippa, Monaca, Industry, Ambridge, and surrounding communities.
In addition to Beaver County, CGS Extended Education offers classes at the Monroeville Expo Mart and Mt. Lebanon High School. For additional information, call the College of General Studies at 412-624-6600.
