PITT TO HOLD RECEPTION FOR NEW SCHOOL OF EDUCATION DEAN
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 13 -- Alan M. Lesgold, The University of Pitsburgh's new School of Education dean, will be honored at a reception hosted by Ronald Norton Spiegel and JoAnn Loikrec Spiegel, Pitt education alumni. Held on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m., the reception will take place at the Chartiers Country Club, Baldwin Road.
A Pitt professor for nearly 30 years in psychology and intelligent systems, Lesgold served as executive associate director of the Learning Research and Development Center prior to becoming dean in July.
