9/29      Elizabeth Otto, assistant professor of art history at the State University of New York at Buffalo, will deliver a lecture titled “Bauhaus Ghost Stories: Spirit and Photography Versus Abstraction and Modern Design,” at 5 p.m., 602 Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland. 9/29      Tina May Hall, 2010 Drue Heinz Literature Prize recipient, will present a reading from her award-winning collection of writing along with the 2010 contest judge Renata Adler. The event is the season opener of the Pittsburgh Contemporary Writers Series and will take place at 8 p.m. in the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium, 650 Schenley Dr., Oakland, with a reception and book signing following the readings.
