“Future Lawyers Day” Set for Nov. 11

PITTSBURGH—Students in the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University Schools of Law will cohost a free symposium for local high school students interested in the field of law. Titled “Future Lawyers Day,” the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 11 on Pitt and Duquesne’s campuses. 

Scheduled events are designed to inform high school students about careers in law. Activities include “The Game of Law,” in which teams of students complete a series of competitive, law-related tasks. About 80 high school students are scheduled to participate. 

The symposium will commence at 9 a.m. in Duquesne’s Hanley Hall, 900 Locust St., Pittsburgh; breakfast will be provided. The symposium will continue in the afternoon in Pitt’s Barco Law Building, 3900 Forbes Ave., Oakland, where lunch will be served.
