University of Pittsburgh Invites Pennsylvania School District Students to Participate in the "Asia and the World" Essay Contest
PITTSBURGH-Pitt's Asian Studies Center and Global Studies Program invites students in Pennsylvania's school districts to participate in the Chu Financial Management Corporation's "Asia and the World" essay contest for high school juniors and seniors.
Cash prizes of $1,200, $750, and $250 will be awarded. To be eligible for the scholarship, students are required to write about one of three topics relating to Asia, adhere to the contest guidelines, and submit entries by Oct. 15, 2007.
