Pitt to Host Its First Korean Festival Sept. 20
PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh Nationality Rooms Program together with the Korean Heritage Room Committee and the Korean community will hold Pitt's first-ever Korean Festival from 2 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Cathedral of Learning's Commons Room, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
The group will celebrate the G-20 Summit with a program featuring a Korean wedding re-enactment, Tae Kwon Do demonstrations, Korean folk songs and traditional dances, and an array of Korean food.
Admission to the festival is free. Proceeds from food sales and activities will benefit the Korean Heritage Room construction fund.
