Pitt's Kuntu Repertory Theatre to Conduct Free Programs at Community Senior Centers April 12 and 15

PITTSBURGH—As part of its work promoting arts in the community, the University of Pittsburgh's internationally renowned Kuntu Repertory Theatre will conduct free public Seniors in Action programs at 1:15 p.m. April 12 in the ElderAdo Center, 320 Brownsville Road, Mt. Oliver, and at 11:30 a.m. April 15 in the Southside Senior Center, 12th and Birmingham streets.
The programs, which will feature senior citizens singing songs and reciting poems, cap a year of workshops in psychodrama, music, and theater facilitated by Kuntu Repertory Theatre.
Seniors in Action is made possible through a grant from the Birmingham Foundation, which provides cultural outreach activities for residents of senior citizen care centers on Pittsburgh's South Side.
