Pitt Book Center to Host Holiday English Tea
PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh Book Center will hold a holiday English tea open house at noon Dec. 2 in the University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Ave., Oakland. This event is free and open to the public.
Traditional English tea and desserts will be served as part of the Book Center's monthly fall teas. Japanese and Russian teas already have been held, and upcoming nationality teas include a Welsh tea in January and an Irish tea in March. The Thursday tea series extends into the spring with Shakespearean-and chocolate-themed teas.
