UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH TO HOST SECOND TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION SYMPOSIUM
PITTSBURGH, April 15 -- The University of Pittsburgh will host its second Technology and Education Symposium, Thursday, May 7. The symposium is free (lunch will be provided) and will be held the William Pitt Union on the Oakland Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
This symposium is an important one-day information exchange involving today's innovative local and regional high school and university educators and administrators. The symposium is directed at K-16 school district superintendents, provosts, administrators, board members, technology directors, curriculum directors and business managers.
Participants will:
•Learn how technology is revolutionizing the way we teach, learn, communicate, and conduct day-to-day business in the educational marketplace.
•Discuss innovative ideas and trends for facilitating educational change.
•See real-world applications of technology by Pitt, school districts, and other educational institutions.
