PITT STUDENTS TO GET FIRED UP AT THE BONFIRE AND PEP RALLY ON CATHEDRAL LAWN
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 17 -- University of Pittsburgh students, faculty and staff will gather to show support for the Pittsburgh Panthers at a bonfire and pep rally on the Cathedral of Learning lawn this evening at 7 p.m. as Pitt prepares to host Penn State this Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
Prior to lighting the large bonfire, Chancellor Mark Nordenberg, Coach Walt Harris, and Panther players will address the crowd. The pep rally will include big screen football highlights on the side of the Cathedral, the Pitt cheerleaders, and the Pitt Band.
