DIRECTOR'S WORKSHOP FOR WRITERS OFFERED AT PITT
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 18 -- Producer and director Woodie King, Jr., who founded the New Federal Theatre of New York, will conduct a director's workshop for playwrights and writers, at the University of Pittsburgh, 1 - 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26.
The workshop will be held in Room 3T51 of the Forbes Quadrangle Building, 230 S. Bouquet Street. It is presented by the Kuntu Writers Workshop, a part of the Department of Africana Studies at Pitt and is part of the 1998 Dennis Brutus Writers and Readers Series. It is sponsored by the Multi-Cultural Arts Initiative and the Pittsburgh Foundation/Howard Heinz Endowment.
