PITT TO HOLD FACILITIES WORKSHOP FOR THE COMMUNITY
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 6 -- The University of Pittsburgh's ten-year facilities plan will be the subject of a community workshop, Thursday,
October 8, at 6 p.m. in the Lower Lounge of the William Pitt Union on the University's Oakland campus.
The workshop will feature presentations about the University's program to improve its facilities to meet the needs of its students into the next century. Members of the public are invited to participate in the discussion of the plan following the presentations.
The event is part of an ongoing effort by the University to inform Oakland residents of its building plans and to provide them with an opportunity to comment on them.
Additional workshops will be scheduled in the future to provide more detail and discussion about individual construction projects.
