U.S. FOREIGN POLICY EXPERT TO VISIT PITT, EXPLAIN WHY WE LOVE TO HATE THE U.N.
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 21 -- Katherine Magraw, special assistant to the undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, will discuss "Why We Love to Hate the United Nations," beginning at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 26 in Suite 1201, Bruce Hall on the University of Pittsburgh campus.
Presented to coincide with United Nations Day 1998, Magraw's visit is cosponsored by The United Nations Association of Pittsburgh and both the University Center for International Studies and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.
The lecture and reception is free and open to the public but reservations are required. For more information, call 412-648-7625.
