PITT'S KUNTU REPERTORY THEATRE SEEKS ACTORS FOR TWO PRODUCTIONS
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 10 -- The University of Pittsburgh's internationally-known Kuntu Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for two productions, "Lifting" and "Papa's Blues," from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., Dec. 3
and 4.
Parts are available for a number of African-American actors and actresses, as well as an African-American nine-year-old boy and a white male, approximate age 35.
Auditions will be held at 3814 Forbes Avenue in Oakland and interested individuals must come ready to perform a two-minute monologue and sing a few measures of a song, preferably a blues number. Cold readings also may be requested.

"Lifting," written by Frank Hightower and directed by Eileen Morris, will be performed at the Stephen Foster Memorial Auditorium, January 28 to February 14. "Papa's Blue's" was written by Javon Johnson and will be directed by Vernell Lillie. It will be performed April 14 through May 1 in the Pitt Studio.
