PITT TO CO-SPONSOR WECHT-RODDEY DEBATE IN WEST MIFFLIN
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 8 -- Allegheny County executive candidates James Roddey and Cyril Wecht will debate the issue of economic development beginning at 7:30 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 18, at CCAC South Campus, Auditorium Building B, Route 885 in West Mifflin.
Free and open to the public, this event is co-sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA), the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh, and the Mon Valley Regional Business Alliance.
Moderator for the debate will be Sue Brouton, vice president, League of Women Voters. Panelists include Carolyn Ban, dean, GSPIA; Robert Dittman, Allegheny Recovery Corp.; Burrell Brown, attorney, and Jacqueline Morrow, attorney and adjunct faculty member of GSPIA.
