PITT'S KUNTU REPERTORY THEATRE TO HOST SECOND COMMUNITY "INFORMATION FAIRE"
PITTSBURGH, August 30 -- The University of Pittsburgh's internationally-renowned Kuntu Repertory Theatre will host its second information Faire from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, in the Masonic Temple, 4227 Fifth Avenue, Oakland.
The event is free. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
The Faire is designed to benefit a wide range of audiences, including grade and high school teachers, college theater departments, and senior citizens organizations. Its intent is to present to interested members of the community the many opportunities Kuntu Repertory Theatre has to offer them.
The Faire will enable attendees to:
• Meet with Kuntu's founder and artistic director, Vernell A. Lillie, and
learn about Kuntu's rich legacy and history;
• Meet Kuntu's creative and distinguished actors and witness some of the best talent in Pittsburgh;
• Tour the newly-renovated, historic Masonic Temple; and
• Find out how Kuntu can collaborate with groups and organizations to meet their needs.
