Pitt’s Nationality Rooms Program to Hold Annual Polish Festival on Nov. 11
PITTSBURGH—Polish food, craft demonstrations, dancing, and cultural displays will be featured during the University of Pittsburgh’s annual Polish Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Cathedral of Learning’s Commons Room. It is free and open to the public.
Pitt’s Nationality Rooms program and the Polish Nationality Room Committee are sponsoring the family-oriented event. The festival will feature Polish music and native professional dancers, as well as demonstrations on making pierogi, paper flowers, Polish Easter eggs, dough art, and other native folk crafts.
Proceeds from the festival benefit the Polish Room Scholarship Fund. More information is available at 412-624-6150.
